Food Karma Projects, Beer Sessions Radio™ and the Good Beer Seal are happy to present the Seventh Annual July Good Beer Month featuring the return of Cookout NYC with Running with the Beef™.
Inspired by Spain's Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Running with the Beef™ will feature some of NYC's best chefs—Michelin Star chef Anthony Sasso? Check! Pitmaster Robbie Richter? Check!—grilling grass-fed beef into Spanish-style dishes ranging from traditional (Grilled Steak, Brisket, Beef Sausages) to unique (Harry Hawk's Spanish Schnack Burgers from Schweid & Sons) at Stuyvesant Cove Park (24-20 FDR Drive, enter at Solar One) along Manhattan's scenic East River.
In conjunction with the Good Beer Seal's July Good Beer Month, Running of the Beef™ will run from 4-9 p.m. onSaturday, July 11th, serving up tasty tapas style dishes alongside the finest Spanish & American craft beers, including an import corner from Iberian United and Shelton Brothers Imports, a stellar selection of American craft beer from Sixpoint, plus wines, Kalimotxo (red wine & cola) and Sidra (Spanish cider). You can use the libations to wash down beef offerings from more than 10 chef’s grilling stations.
Entertainment will include a live DJ (Jim “Bocky” Barns) playing a mix of the best European & Spanish disco, with Flamenco dancers and other festivities. You’ll get four hours of eating and drinking (five for VIP, including a group Flamenco dance lesson and a full hour of access to the best beers and chefs before General Admission) at one of the biggest food events of the year.
So, throw on your favorite red & white attire and join us for the perfect summer celebration where you can eat, drink and live like Hemingway! Updates and ticketing can be found at http://cookoutnyc.com/.
